Long lasting relationships are not unique to humans. Puffins also often have remarkable faithfulness to their mates and some pairs may nest together for decades!
This year, celebrate someone special for Valentine’s Day by adopting a puffin for them. Or, make a donation to Project Puffin in honor of, or in memory of, someone special. Your gift will help us to protect Maine puffins.
Adoption recipients will receive a biography and color picture of their puffin, an adoption certificate, and the option of receiving a book that tells the story of Project Puffin. Click HERE to adopt a puffin now.
PS: Please let us know that you are making a Valentine’s Day adoption or donation by writing "VALENTINE" in the “Special Shipping Instructions” or “Additional Comments” box when entering your information, so that we can process it accordingly. Please also let us know if you want the adoption sent directly to you, so that you can present it to your special someone. For donations, let us know in the “Additional Comments” box. Or, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that the deadline to submit puffin adoptions and online orders if they are to arrive by Valentine's Day is February 6th by 5pm EST.
You could also help Maine puffins by shopping from our collection of puffin jewelry, socks, shirts, books, and more. Click HERE to shop our online store now.
Shipping special: $5 shipping fee on all orders in our online store, regardless of size. Shipping special ends at 5pm EST on February 6th. Please note that February 6th by 5pm EST is also the last day to submit puffin adoptions and online orders if they are to arrive by Valentine’s Day.
Proceeds from puffin adoptions and all online sales go to help us operate summer field stations in Maine to protect puffins and other Maine seabirds.
